I do not have a lot of experience with wedding and party videos, but I'm a reliable, honest, creative, and hard-working journalist. I know I can do a great job shooting documentary style wedding videos. I'm also available to shoot videos of other occasions, like parties, Christenings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs.

I'm a staff photographer at a major newspaper, where I've been shooting pictures for 13 years and shooting video for just over one year.

I've got some cool ideas that bring videography into the 21st century, including putting the video on your tv, iPod, Facebook account, MySpace page and computer.

Please remember that the videos you see on my blog are compressed. The DVD's I will give you will be high definition in a 16:9 format.

Some of my videos recently won prizes in two contests: the New York Press Photographers Association and New Jersey Press Photographers Association.

I will shoot up to 8 hours of video:   bride and bridal party getting ready, the arrival, the ceremony, the reception, and whatever else goes on. Interviews, music and natural sound will be incorporated into the video.
I will edit the video into  a movie that will be around 30 minutes or as long as 60 minutes; depending on how much good footage I get.

I will also edit the video down to a shorter version that will give a smaller file size. I will set up (or show you how to set up) a free website where we can post the short video for all your friends and family to see. You'll also be able to put the video on your video iPod or iPhone; on your MySpace page and on Facebook.

I'll provide 5 DVD's that have the long version and the short version. I will give you DVD's with all the raw footage.

I will work with you to give you a video that tells the story of your wedding--that's how I work as a photojournalist and that's how I'll approach your wedding video. As I look at websites for some wedding videographers, I see a lot of bad work with silly special effects and gimmicks. I'm different. I'm just looking to tell your story, and let the beauty of the day speak for itself.
 
I use a Sony HD video camera and I edit with Final Cut Pro.
